Sister Bay is undergoing a remarkable transformation: burial of overhead power lines, new concrete paving, decorative street lighting, wayfinding signage, widened sidewalks, bike route accommodation, and increased storm sewer management capacity. All this in addition to the enhanced, new sanitary sewer and water service, completed in 2014. These improvements, combined with the newly constructed 650’ sand beach, Sister Bay Stage, and expanded and connected Waterfront Park, create an inviting, vibrant space for residents and visitors to enjoy for generations.
Scheduled to start July 2015 and be completed by Memorial Day 2016, Sister Bay’s Bay Shore Drive Reconstruction Project – from the top of the Highway 42 hill to Scandia Road – will have a fresh appearance guaranteed to have curb appeal.
Please excuse our dust and noise during this improvement project. The businesses of Sister Bay will all remain open and accessible during this time, and your patronage and support are very welcomed during this time.
